TELL US MORE ABOUT YOURSELF

I’m Akinfolarin Omolola, am from Ondo State and I was brought up from a Christian home of three children of which I came last in position. Am still a student although still finding my way into a tertiary institution as at the moment but even with that, am currently into teaching. am single and also am the kind of person that never allows a moment to slide without making it lively.

I’ve been so passionate about fashion ever since I was a child and this has really draw my attention to modelling of all varieties in fashion. Through modeling, I aim to become an inspirational figure to lot of people most essentially, the “young women” and I believe that with my strong interest for fashion, I can be of great value to the brand(s) I work with and also prove my capability with a diligent spirit just to meet with the needs of the brand(s) of their expectations.

HOW DOES EMERGING THE SECOND WINNER FOR FACE OF WAVE NIGERIA MAKE YOU FEEL?

It makes me feel on top of the world.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST THOUGHT THAT CAME TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU WERE ANNOUNCED THE WINNER?

The very first thought that came to my mind was to give in my best till the end.

WHAT COULD YOU SAY STOOD YOU OUT FROM OTHER CONTESTANTS?

I believe my creative skill, goal getting spirit stood me out among my co-contestants but above all, Grace.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE MODELLING?

Actually, this is my first attempt.

WHAT YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN MODELLING?

Getting a job as there are many competitors in the field.

HOW DO YOU INTEND TO USE THIS YOUR NEW OFFICE TO MAKE IMPACT TO THE SOCIETY?

I intend to impact the society by helping the needy such as visiting orphanage homes to check up on them and lot more.

HAVE YOU DONE ANY PET PROJECT BEFORE? IF YES, TELL US ABOUT IT.

No, I haven’t.

HOW HAS WINNING THIS PAGEANT CHANGED YOUR LIFE?

It has really changed my life in times of high recognition even though this happens to be my first attempt.

ANY BAD EXPERIENCE SINCE YOU STARTED MODELING?

No

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?

My role model is Agbani Darego, the first black African to be crowned Miss World in 2001. i really admire the way she promoted herself and became a great model with her tenacious pneuma.

IF YOU WERE NOT A MODEL, WHAT OTHER CAREER WOULD YOU HAVE PURSED?

I would have love to go for interior design service (decoration).

HOW DO YOU RELAX?

Most times, I had my relaxation period by going to an amusement park just to catch the pleasure it provides, hang out with friends and in other occasions, i prefer having the day to myself by staying indoor and reading novels.

I never had any bad experience in the modeling industry.

WHICH BRANDS ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO WORK WITH?

I prefer to work with brands that specializes in creativity and also well organize, I want to be able to represent brands that I can confidently propose to my family and friends and I’d love to meet with different brands that will be of positive influence to me in future.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS?

I see myself becoming that industrious lady still pushing through life but please with the steps taken.

MESSAGE TO THE ASPIRING GIRLS DREAMING TO BECOME A BEAUTY QUEEN

Never think less of yourself and don’t be limited by your background or things happening around, discouragement has no positive effect on human’s life and whatsoever the heart can conceive, it can achieve don’t stop at that spot, go for it and never lose FOCUS.
