Queen Amiojie Princess is a professional model, brand influencer and a beauty queen, a Pharmacist who graduated from Niger delta university and currently the reigning Miss Peace Queen 2021/2022. On this interview Fourwall Magazine, she shared her experience about her modeling journey.

HOW DOES IT FEEL EMERGING THE WINNER OF MISS PEACE QUEEN?

It has been a wonderful experience, i have been given a rare privilege to meet with dignitaries, exposed to a whole lot of opportunities. Being the winner of the pageant has made me to be more courteous because as an ambassador of peace i am a role model to the society.

WHAT WAS THE FIRST THOUGT THAT CAME TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU WERE ANNOUNCED WINNER?

For the first few seconds, after i was announced the winner, i was Speechless. Hearing my name from the crowd as they cheered me up in victory. It was indeed a dream that turned to reality and i was super excited. 

HOW DID YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY REACT TO YOUR VICTORY?

If i could describe their reactions in one sentence, I would say that they were super excited. I remember how my parents remained awake till midnight so they could call to hear the good news. Family members, friends and especially “TEAM PRINCESS” (the team that was responsible for planning  my activities for the event) were all happy that i won and their sacrifices yielded a great result. 

IN YOUR WORDS, WHAT DO YOU THINK STOOD YOU OUT FROM OTHERS?

I must confess that it was not an easy competition because all girls were amazing individuals who were unique in their different ways. I had this “ Never give up” mentality and always avoided imitating other contestants. My energy was channeled towards working hard and being committed to the activities of the organization right from the  day of audition, boot-camp till the grand-finale.

I am also planning to embark on a massive awareness raising campaign on peace(MARCOP) project and a free medical outreach for both Geriatric and pediatric patients.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE MODELING INDUSTRY?

I have been modeling for six years

TELL US YOUR EXPERIENCE SINCE YOU WERE CROWNED?

My experience has been amazing and also tasking due to the fact that being a queen comes with a lot of responsibilities. I’m grateful to my organization for gifting me a car few months ago(smiles)

WHAT ARE THE PROJECTS YOU HAVE EMBARKED ON FAR?

Clean hands: Healthy lives initiative was a project i birthed to commemorate the annual world hand hygiene day and also intend to continue even after my reign. The Miss Peace team in collaboration with some health professionals visited a secondary school in Bayelsa state to distribute Hand Sanitizers, Liquid hand-wash, paper towels and also sensitized /educated the students and staff on proper hand hygiene.

IF YOU WERE A MODEL WHAT OTHER CAREER WOULD YOU HAVE PURSUED?

There are other careers I would have pursued and they include; Air hostess, red carpet/T.V  host amongst others.

WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL?

My mother, Mrs.  Kate Amiojie, she has inspired me in different ways and remains my undisputed and loving role model. 

WHICH BRANDS ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH?

I look forward to working with most   top brands both locally and internationally ranging from telecommunication companies, fashion brands (Zara, Gucci etc.), cosmetics and so many more.

LASTLY. ANY MESSAGE TO THE ASPIRING GIRLS WHO DREAM OF BECOMING A BEAUTY QUEEN?

Being a beauty queen goes far beyond possessing an attractive physical appearance, she should also  possess a good character because she is an ambassador, role model and a leader. Therefore, aspiring models should be genuine and  surround themselves with good people, always endeavor to step out from their comfort zones and break the myth of a stereotypical beauty queen.
