What is PURPOSE?
PURPOSE is the reason for your existence. It is the reason for which something is done or created. If you do not know why you are here on earth, ask God to help you “POSE” according to His will, so that you may be “POSITIONED” in line with your “PUR-POSE”.
PURPOSE in Hebrew is MAAN (Strong’s 4616): it means “Intent”. What did God ‘intend’ when He created you? What did Steve Jobs ‘intend’ when he created the “Apple” brand? What did the Wright Brothers ‘intend’ when they invented Airplanes? Lack of PURPOSE results in Abuse of a thing or person. “If I don’t know why I am here, I would waste/abuse my life” also, “If I don’t know what they do with a WASHING MACHINE, I will store clothes in it like a wardrobe-ABUSE (Abnormal Use).
PURPOSE IS KEY! even the devil knows and has a purpose as seen in the Bible (JOHN 10:10). Why are you here on earth??? Knowledge of your Purpose determines who you marry because they will be going on the journey with you.
PURPOSE is the 1st thing you ought to know! It helps you define yourself in the “I AM” statements you make. Jesus Christ knew His Purpose and said in JOHN 14:6- “I AM the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE”. Who are you in one statement? Why are you here on earth? DISCOVER it, PURSUE it and FULFILL it.
