The major challenges I faced were stage fright, which I overcame by taking up challenges to build up my confidence and the general fear of tripping over nothing and making a fool of myself.

It has got to be my crowning. The feeling of winning a position is unparalleled to any other moment during the contest.

How has winning this pageant impacted in your life?

Winning this pageant has helped me to become more exposed and help me to build up my self-confidence in my day to day activities.

Who is your role model and why?

My role model is my mother naturally because if not for her, I wouldn’t have had this type of exposure to even become the 2nd runner-up of Little Miss Africa Nigeria 2023.

Tell us about Little Miss Africa Nigeria?

The challenge was tough, and I had to step up my game and out of my comfort zone into something I had never done before in my life and with so many people with a lot more experience than I had, it was really rough.

Do you have any pet project you would love to carry out during your reign?

Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have one. I would like to create awareness programs for the girl child and for children in general who, like me, have no experience with pageants like this, to inspire and motivate them.

How ready are you to embark on this journey of being a queen?

I am ever ready because I am passionate, and I see it as a dream come true to finally be able to do something worthwhile.

What motivated you to pursue a career in modeling?

What motivates me to pursue modelling as a career is my mom. She’s the main driving force behind whatever I put my mind to. She is a great support, and if anything, I wouldn’t want to let her down even if my life depended on it. That alone is a strong piece of motivation.

Which brands are you looking forward to working with?

Brands I’m looking forward to working with have got to be Chanel and to get recognized by any internal modelling agency.

Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

I see myself in school honestly, but if I am being completely honest, I really want to be modelling for a popular brand and would have kick-started my awareness programs.

What advice will you give to other kids that would love to follow your footsteps

Oh, I have plenty! Don’t give up for starters. Let that be a word in your nonexistent dictionary. Second, whatever difficult thing you have yo do in order to be the best version of yourself, don’t hesitate. Do it. Finally, have fun while doing whatever you have to do. If you think of it as a punishment, then it will seem like one, make it fun for yourself and everyone around you.
