Introducing Quan Chi as our Model of the Month for April 2024 and the cover star for this month’s Model Issue!
Preye Samuel, popularly known as QUAN CHI. He hails from Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, a graduate of Bayelsa State Polytechnic and an HND Holder in Mass Communication.
“My journey as a model can be described as a rollercoaster but mostly enjoying, educating, and easy-going. I remember starting up as a model, I was not what I am today. So, it has been a journey. There are times I get discouraged and saddened but passion keeps me going.”
The role of friends and industry personalities in my modeling journey has been helpful because we all need people around us, people who share the same dreams and aspirations, people who will aid in moving us to the next level. In all, I am grateful to God Almighty.
Achievement so far?
I have achieved numerous recognitions such as the Next Rated Model Model of the Year- ICONS AWARD, Awesome Concept 2022 Achievers Award, Thisisbayelsa Achievers Award, Fashion Market Empire’s Best Male Model of the year-Medal of Honour, The World’s Ralph Arts Factory Launching Billboard, BEVCA Achievement in Photo Creativity, The face of the book titled “The Struggle” by Dan Kpodah, The face of Kelz Makeover, on the cover of Fashion Market Empire Magazine, 1st Edition, The face of Next Visual Photography, Radio appearances and a few nominations.
The opportunity to work with talented photographers like; Next Visual Photography, Mr.P_Photograph, Geetee Creator, Black Chalk, Och Photography, Obote Ayah, Unku Piskure, Jedking, Rich-Link Photography, and others. Also, I have been opportune to grace some prominent fashion shows such as FAME, Beats & Bottles, BFN, BEF Strides & Stitches, and others.
Lastly, being the Brand Ambassador for Fourwall Magazine is one of my greatest achievements and I am forever grateful for the office. Fourwall Magazine is not just a print publication but a household name and body for models with countless prospects.
What makes you outstanding from other models?
What makes me outstanding is my personality and ability to do me, being original or being myself. It is good to have an identity and face people can easily remember.

There are a lot of good brands out there. One thing for sure is that good things come to those who believe. I am open to working with good brands and I am also ready to work with all entertainment genres.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I don’t see myself anywhere. Lol! I just work, have fun with what I love doing, and be the best of me. I believe everything good will flow naturally, as what will be, will be.
